We are looking for an experienced Product Manager – Smart Home Solutions to lead RISCO’s portfolio in the smart home ecosystem. The role involves defining and executing product strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring seamless integration with global standards such as KNX and Z-Wave etc. The Product Manager will oversee the full product lifecycle, working closely with R&D, sales, and marketing teams worldwide to deliver next-generation smart home products that integrate security, automation, and IoT.
Role definition
- Define the product vision and roadmap for smart home and connected living solutions.
- Identify customer needs and market trends, translating them into product requirements.
- Drive integration with leading smart home protocols and ecosystems, with a strong focus on KNX and Z-Wave.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.
- Support global sales and marketing teams with product expertise, training, and positioning.
- Monitor competitors and emerging technologies in the smart home and IoT sectors.
- Lead product launches, including go-to-market strategy, pricing, and sales enablement tools.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with customer needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field – mandatory.
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in smart home, IoT, or security domains.
- Solid knowledge of smart home standards and protocols, particularly KNX and Z-Wave – mandatory.
- Familiarity with IoT, cloud platforms, and system integration.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with global customers and partners.
- Fluent English – both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
- Business-oriented mindset and strategic thinking.
- Availability for international travel.
